Towel Day Banner How-To
« on: March 31, 2011, 08:00:19 AM »
Is the fundamental interconnectivity of all things beyond your budget?  Then why not go for something a little smaller - like connectivity to the Towel Day forum with a banner on your website, blog or signature?  Help grow the Towel Day community, and maybe, if Earth gets scheduled for demolition, more ape-descendants will be ready to hitch a ride off this planet.  Think of it like The Rapture, only with towels.

There are several ways to use the Towel Day banner, depending on where you put the banner and the application you are using to put it there.

If you just need the picture and the url, right-click on the banner and "save as" to get a copy.  Then, once you’ve put the banner where you want it, link it to http://towelday.net

OR, you can put this code on your web site:

Code: [Select]
<a href="http://towelday.net" target="_blank">
<img src="http://towelday.net/Themes/default/images/TDbanner1.jpg"
alt="Towel Day :: A tribute to Douglas Adams (1952-2001)"
width="468" height="60" border="1"></a>

OR, you can use the following code to make the Towel Day banner your forum signature:

Code: [Select]

Feel free to use this thread to ask for help, or tell us where you’ve placed the banner so we can come by for a visit.
