Towel Day Pictures / Re: Towel Day 2019

I'm still waiting for my Towel Day photos (on someone else's phone).  In the meantime, here are some pictures from a third generation Towel Day participant (my first grandchild).

Here we see her attempting not to be seen by her father by not being able to see him.  It fails, thus proving that her father is smarter than the Ravenous Bugblatter Beast of Traal.  She is forced to flee at close to light speed, or at least faster than the camara shutter.

Happy Towel Day!!!

While we haven't had much traffic here lately, Towel Day continues to thrive across the world and the internet.  Today I will continue working on a novel that I started earlier this year and hope to have finished by the end of summer.  So, I am mostly hiding out with my towel deep down in the writing bunker (actually a converted fall-out shelter constructed in the 1950s that is now my office/library).  I will post some pictures this evening after picking up one of my kids at the airport (I'm not much for selfies and prefer festive company for my Towel Day photos).

Enjoy the day and don't forget your towel!

Happy Towel Day!  I sadly left my towel in a guitar case that is currently in Michigan, but thankfully a friendly hitchhiker is loaning me their towel until I can reclaim my own.  =)

You make your college sound about as appealing as a prison.  Actually, I don't like cell phones, so it is somewhat appealing—except that I also don't like colleges, so maybe prison is about right.

I've come back from...  Well, not the dead, but from somewhere far off where I seemed dead to most.  Most of my communications devices were either confiscated or hard to get a hold of.  I suppose I've come back to simply say hello, and I haven't forgotten this place.  It's not Towel season, but merry Christmas.  = )

Update: The official title of the anthology will be Edward Bryant's Sphere Of Influence, published by Mad Cow Press.  It is due out on November 24th.  Other authors in the anthology include Connie Willis, Steve Rasnic Tem, Kevin J. Anderson, Bruce Holland Rogers & more.  I did a reading from this story Saturday night at MileHiCon in Denver.
