Kojv on Towel Day - NPR news
« on: August 04, 2009, 03:31:09 PM »
You may have heard this back in 2007, but here is a short (about 2 minute) mp3 of NPR news talking about Towel Day.  Kojv (Tobbe Landin) was interviewed for the piece.

I don't believe I'd heard that one before, so thanks for finding it.

It's so funny to hear how people on TV tend to think that Towel Day is such a bizarre thing, because, y'know, to people who read books like the Guide, carrying a towel around is probably one of the least weird things they've ever heard. At least, that's how it seems to me.
". . . We realised we had been myopically shortsighted to think this thing was just an adding machine. . . . So we began to develop it as a super typewriter. With a long and increasingly incomprehensible feature list. Users of Microsoft Word will know what I'm talking about."
