I am now reading the third book of LotR and have discovered some new charecters like....

Aragorn - LotR

Frodo - LotR

Samwise Gamgee - LotR

Peregrin - LotR

Meriadoc - LotR (I know, I have too much taste in hobbits  :P)

Paul Atredes - Dune

I'm still in the 'have not read enogh books' stage, so I might have more later on in life.   :)

Samwise rocks!  :D

I'm reading The Sisters Grimm: Fairytale Detective series to my twins. I love it as much as they do. Two chracters I'm crazy about- Uncle Jake and Mr. Canis.
