Towel Day plans 2014
« on: May 23, 2014, 10:06:51 PM »
This is shaping up to be a more mellow Towel Day for me.  I have relatives visiting from out of state and so mostly I will be indoctrinating them in the ways of the towel... and having fun.  But no major party or anything like that this year.

What are your plans for Towel Day 2014?

No big plans this year. My girls, just turned 13, aren't so into it anymore. Maybe we'll go out to ice cream.  I'm sure they'd risk me embarrassing them with my towel if I buy them rainbow sherbet.  :)

I think this is the first time that I'll actually be working on Towel Day. However, I'll mostly be working alone, so I won't be much of a spectacle. We'll see how it goes.

If you take your nap, use a towel for a pillow and another for a blanket.  :)
And towels make great gifts for anybody, including priests! :)

Well, I spent the first half of Towel Day working and the second half absolutely dying of allergies. But, I did manage to rescue a stray towel from the trash. I'll put up a few Towel Day pictures tomorrow, but right now I'm falling asleep from allergy medicine drowsiness.
